What is Grips Edge?

Grips Edge is an Australian sim racing wheel brand built around limited drops. Every wheel is designed in-house, produced in small batches, and never restocked. Once a drop sells out, it's gone for good.

What is Drop 01?

Drop 01 is the Founders Edition, the first wheel Grips Edge ever made. An all-black GT-style sim racing wheel, designed entirely in-house in Australia. Only 4 units exist. Once they sell, this drop is permanently closed.

What games and sim software does it work with?

The Founders Edition connects via USB and works as a standard HID device. Plug it in, map your buttons, and it works across any sim that supports USB input, including Assetto Corsa, Forza Motorsport, iRacing, BeamNG, Dirt Rally, and most others. No drivers needed for button input.

The onboard shift lights require SimHub with the Arduino addon to function. SimHub is free software and widely used in the sim racing community. setup is straightforward if you're comfortable following a guide.

What wheelbase does it connect to?

The Founders Edition ships with a 70mm spacer attached. You'll need to purchase a quick release (QR) compatible with your own wheelbase separately. This keeps you in control of compatibility with your specific setup. Most major wheelbase brands have QR options available. The wheel connects via USB-C on the back of the wheel shell. A coiled USB-C cable is included with every wheel purchase.

Will Drop 01 be restocked?

No. Once the 4 units are gone, the Founders Edition is permanently closed. No reprints, no second run. Future drops will be separate designs.

When does Drop 01 go live?

We're still in the final stages of development. Join the waitlist on the homepage and you'll be first to know when it drops.

Do you ship outside Australia?

Currently shipping within Australia only. International drops may come in future runs.
